Job summary

Medirest, part of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting a dedicated Supervisor on a part-time basis (25 hours per week) to help ensure the smooth running of healthcare operations.

You will lead a frontline team, check deliveries, produce weekly rotas, place stock orders and support a respectful, customer-focused environment while upholding Food Handling, Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams in a similar environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Team player with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
• Being a responsible key holder
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
• Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
