Overview

Aspire People are currently recruiting healthcare teaching assistants to work in a special needs school located in Scunthorpe.

This school is looking for a teaching assistant with experience in the care sector who is interested in utilising their skills within education. The school caters for students in KS1 and KS2. Some personal care will be required, such as changing nappies when needed.

The Role

• Monday to Friday – 8:30 – 15:30
• Long-term contract with the option of extending or being flexible ("here and there")
• Working one-to-one with students
• Collaborating with a number of assistants and the class teacher
• Developing social and cognitive development
• Supportive senior leadership team

• Starts after the summer break with a rolling contract
• Option to go permanent
• Pay rate up to 107 per day
