You have the opportunity to join our fantastic and friendly Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust (BHT) family as a Healthcare Support Worker – no previous experience needed. These are great opportunities for candidates who are looking to step into healthcare for the first time, or for those who are already in healthcare and want to work for an NHS Trust. Healthcare Support Workers play a crucial role in all aspects of care delivery for our patients.

Main duties of the job

You will be joining a team of dedicated professionals from whom you will learn on the job. We provide training to ensure you have the skills for the role and offer development opportunities to realise your career potential. You will be enrolled onto a Healthcare Support Worker induction programme held each month, ensuring you feel supported as you take the first steps into your new career.

Our ward operates a 24‑hour shift rotation across a 7‑day service. Day shifts typically start at 07:00–19:30 depending on the ward, and night shifts are vice versa.
