Main duties of the job
  • Assist in delivering high standards of nursing care within a ward team, maintaining professionalism.
  • Support patients with nutrition and hydration, accurately documenting care activities.
  • Maintain ward cleanliness and adhere to health and safety policies.
  • Communicate politely and effectively with patients, relatives, and staff, including those with communication barriers.
  • Participate in ward meetings and undertake basic nursing duties under supervision, following training and competency achievement.
  • Assist with patient movements and transfers safely, following care plans.
