A leading healthcare provider in Poole is seeking a Health Care Support Worker to provide compassionate care for surgical patients. This role involves assisting with daily activities, taking observations, and working collaboratively with healthcare teams. Applicants should be team-oriented and committed to patient wellbeing. Flexibility across multiple locations may be required. A care certificate is preferred for Band 3 roles, while training is provided for Band 2 candidates.

The Surgical Directorate is currently looking for a Health Care Support Worker for an exciting role on Ward B2. Our focus is on providing safe and exceptionally skilled surgical care to our patients. We focus heavily on training, education, staff support and development; alongside collaborative working with our Consultants and other professionals.
We deliver high quality care to patients with complex needs and multiple co-morbidities. We are a forward-thinking directorate and wards, and we always put our patients first. This post is being advertised as a Band 3, however applicants that do not meet the required care certificate competencies will initially be employed as a Band 2. Applicants who hold a care certificate accreditation will start in post at Band 3. As part of the interview process you will be asked to complete a numeracy and literacy assessment.
