Job summary

A national healthcare provider is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to join its dynamic surgical nursing teams. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering kind and compassionate care. Responsibilities include supporting trained nurses and undertaking direct care activities. Educational qualifications include Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care, and candidates should be willing to work towards the Care Certificate. A DBS check is required for this role.

Healthcare Support Worker - Male Surgery / Gastro (band 2)

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic, motivated staff with excellent communication skills to join our forward thinking dynamic surgical nursing teams. You must have a passion for delivering kind and compassionate care. Recruiting motivated, capable and committed staff is the key to maintaining our high standards of quality, safety and patient experience.

This position is not currently eligible for a certificate of sponsorship in line with Home Office guidance as it does not appear on the skilled worker visa occupation list.

If you currently hold a different type of visa allowing you to work in the UK we would welcome an application from you. If your visa expires or there is a change in status during your employment, the Trust will be required to review your employment which may result in the termination of your employment to comply with the relevant immigration legislation.

Main duties of the job
