Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker at HMP Hull. We seek an enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive individual to join our healthcare team, which includes experienced professionals such as nurses, paramedics, clinical support workers, pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, physiotherapists, and administrative staff.

Responsibilities
  1. Assisting with medication administration
  2. Leading clinical support clinics such as NHS Health checks, Phlebotomy, ECG, and QOF reviews
  3. Supporting registered nurses in emergency care delivery and patient assessments
  4. Blood-borne virus and sexual health screening
  5. Initial reception screening during the first and second nights
  6. Health promotion activities
  7. Substance misuse support
