Job summary

We have opportunities to work as a Health Care Support Worker - Clinical Care within the Oncology and Haematology department on Mulbarton Ward and AOHS

Mulbarton Ward is a 34 bedded ward caring for patients with cancer. we care for patients who need chemotherapy, stem cell transplants, iodine therapy as well as supporting patients with their side effects from their cancer and treatments. We care for patients at the end of their life and provide palliative care.

Main duties of the job

Under the direction of the registered professional, work with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, to contribute to the provision of the highest standards of patient care delivered with dignity, respect and compassion. Act as a role model for other colleagues and provide support and guidance as appropriate to role.

To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service,all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH's 'PRIDE' values of People focused, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence and demonstrate behaviours that support and encourage an inclusive culture.
