Job description

Due to recent retirement, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker within Gynaecology Outpatients. This is a permanent post at 28 hours per week.

About the Unit

Queen Margaret Hospital is the only Colposcopy Unit within NHS Fife. The unit provides colposcopy investigations for the NHS Cervical Screening Programme (NHS CSP), and also supports Gynaecology Minor Surgery and other outpatient services.

Candidate Requirements
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, clinical skills, and knowledge.
  • Experience working in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • The department is fast-paced, with varying acuity, focusing on high standards of patient care.
