Job summary

NHS National Services Scotland is seeking an experienced healthcare support worker to join the primary care team in the general practice setting. The post requires excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Experience in community/primary care and phlebotomy skills are advantageous. PVG clearance is anticipated, and flexible travel within the Fife-wide division may be required. Salary details are not specified.

Job description

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced healthcare support worker. You must have excellent organisational skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills. Must be a team player and have a genuine interest in working in the primary care setting within general practice environment.

Previous community / primary care experience would be an advantage, as would phlebotomy skills. Patients are seen within general practice setting.

You will be required to have knowledge and experience to be able to support this role and an appropriate SVQ is desirable.

Our service offers regular supervision and supports training opportunities.

You must have an ability to travel across the Fife-wide division if the service warrants it.

This post holder will be required to work within a Monday – Friday week, available to work 08:30am-5:30pm hours
