Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) in North Wales invites applicants to join a Health Care Assistant Apprenticeship. This pathway offers paid training and hands-on experience, with a focus on developing practical nursing skills under expert supervision.

You will work alongside experienced staff, learn job-specific tasks, and work toward the Level 2 Health Care Assistant qualification within two years. Welsh/English speakers welcome, with support for Welsh-language applications.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at level C or above or equivalent.
• Willing to undertake and complete the Level 2 Clinical Healthcare Apprenticeship Framework.

Responsibilities

• Support trained staff in delivering care to patients.
• Undertake training to gain practical nursing skills and knowledge.
• Assist with personal care, meals and mobility as part of routine duties.
• Participate in mandatory training and work as a team member.
