Job summary

Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Apprentice Healthcare Support Workers for an 18‑month fixed term contract. The role is based at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary or Calderdale Royal Hospital, with potential to be allocated between sites.

Applicants must be 18+, have UK residency for 3 years, and not hold a health-related degree. The apprenticeship includes Care Certificate and BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Care, with a structured in-work training program and potential

Qualifications

• English GCSE grade 9–1 / A*-G (or equivalent)
• Must NOT hold a Level 4 qualification or above in a health-related subject
• Committed to complete Healthcare Support Worker Intermediate Apprenticeship
