Job summary

Heor is seeking a strategic consultant to join its HEOR operation; you will lead multi-workstream projects across cardiology, diabetes, immunology, virology, and oncology, delivering strategic insight and operational delivery for market access decisions.

The role involves leading proposals, developing thought leadership materials, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive client impact. Cardiff or Bicester offices require at least three days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified (minimum BSc) in a scientific, healthcare, or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience working within a market access, HEOR, or related consultancy environment.
• Experience in one or more HEOR disciplines, such as health economic modelling, data science, evidence review, value communications, health technology assessment, or market access.
• Proven experience managing large and complex programmes of work.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Experience leading proposal development and contributing to business development activities
• Experience in building client partnerships
• Excellent written, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills
• Experience developing scientific and strategic written materials
• Line management and leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large multi-workstream projects, including global evidence packages, HTA, and market access projects.
• Provide strategic consultancy to clients, helping solve complex challenges and deliver meaningful outcomes.
• Lead proposals, pitches, and business development activities, while building and strengthening client partnerships.
• Drive thought leadership initiatives, translating innovative ideas, research, and insights into tangible business impact.
• Develop written materials for thought leadership including value messages, posters, slide decks, reports and peer‑reviewed publications.
• Develop analytical, operational, and strategic solutions, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate across HEOR's multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, innovative client projects.
