Kainos is seeking a Solution Architect (Manager) to lead multi-skilled agile teams in designing and delivering high-quality software solutions that delight customers and impact users worldwide.

You will work with customer architects on functional and non-functional designs, estimating effort and explaining technical implications. You will coach staff, manage performance, and drive technology policy and standards while exploring new approaches.

Qualifications

• Has delivered software designs for multi-tiered modern applications.
• Understands whole solution architecture concepts and can communicate them to customer architects.
• Prioritises non-functional concerns and weaves them into design.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS and Azure), including SaaS and PaaS.
• Able to explain technical designs clearly in conversation, docs and presentations.
• Makes effective decisions in fast-moving delivery environments.
• Demonstrates ability to coach and develop junior staff and wider community.
