Job description

The post holder will provide specialist clinical physiology knowledge within respiratory and sleep and will ensure best principles of care are provided to patients at our acute sites Maidstone Hospital and Tunbridge Wells Hospital, as well as at the new Community Diagnostic Centre.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing a high-quality, appropriate, and effective Respiratory and Sleep test service; interpreting results and providing technical reports.
  2. Monitoring and performing calibration and quality control procedures for all equipment.
  3. Supervising, guiding, and supporting all junior staff and other professionals, demonstrating proven competency.
  4. Deputising for the principal respiratory physiologist.
