Job description

The post holder will provide specialist clinical physiology knowledge within respiratory and sleep disciplines and will ensure that the highest standards of patient care are maintained at our acute sites: Maidstone Hospital, Tunbridge Wells Hospital, and the new Community Diagnostic Centre.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing a high-quality, appropriate, and effective Respiratory and Sleep test service; interpreting results and preparing technical reports.
  2. Monitoring and performing calibration and quality control procedures for all equipment.
  3. Supervising, guiding, and supporting junior staff and other professionals, demonstrating proven competency.
  4. Deputising for the principal respiratory physiologist as required.
