Job overview

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support Workforce and Education development within Healthcare Science in NHS Wales, on a part-time, flexible basis. The ideal candidate will have experience across Healthcare Science education at all levels and will work closely with the Programme Manager and Associate Director for Workforce Transformation, supporting workforce transformation initiatives and aligning with the 'A Healthier Wales' framework.

Main duties of the job

The post involves leadership, strategic planning, and management within HEIW’s Nursing and Health Professions Transformation and Quality Directorate. The role supports workforce transformation efforts across NHS Wales, working in a matrix management structure with various stakeholders. This is a fixed-term/secondment position until 31/03/2027. Applicants must obtain their current line manager's permission to apply. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.
