Job summary

Mace is seeking a Project Lead to act as the central point of contact for a Trust scheme, coordinating integration, assurance, and governance to enable informed and effective delivery.

You’ll provide scheme-level coordination between the Trust, Directorates, and wider programme, bringing together scope, cost, risk and dependencies, while supporting decision making and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in a relevant discipline.
• PM qualification or membership (APM/PRINCE2 or equivalent).
• Experience on large, complex capital programmes or major infrastructure schemes.
• Strong governance, assurance, and reporting in regulated public-sector environments.
• Ability to communicate complex information to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary scheme‑level interface with Trust, Executives, PMO and stakeholders.
• Attend and present at scheme, programme and assurance meetings.
• Support application of standards at scheme level with Directorates.
• Support delivery of project outcomes while aligning with strategic objectives.
• Escalate issues and coordinate resources to AMO and groups.
• Coordinate RADIO registers and risk management processes.
• Provide guidance to Trust teams on processes and assurance readiness.
