We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Market Strategist to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our organization in the global healthcare industry with a focus on expansion, growth and development in EMEA. You will play a pivotal part in developing and executing strategies to expand our presence in international markets and shape the future of healthcare delivery.

As we continue to expand our operations globally, we are seeking a talented market strategist to drive our international market initiatives.

Your primary objectives and responsibilities will be:

Market Strategy (50%)

• Influences strategic decision making related to Group Client Health Leadership strategic direction, and ensures execution is in collaboration with leadership and local markets.
• Lead the strategy development and go-to-market planning for new country and product market entry. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create comprehensive market entry and expansion strategies for new regions or countries.
• Presents entire documents to client and internal audiences including C-levels and is able to lead complex content discussions for product segment growth and country expansion.
• Socialises, (with Leadership/Client Health Community), current thinking on market trends and implications and challenges ideas to arrive at new opportunities for the business.
• Identify target customer segments to create the right product positioning. Work closely with product development teams to ensure our offerings meet the specific needs and preferences of international markets
• Track and evaluate the performance of international initiatives, utilizing data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with sales teams to equip them with the necessary tools, market insights to drive revenue growth and achieve targets in international markets.
• Presents entire documents to client and internal audiences including C-levels and is able to lead complex content discussions for product segment growth and country expansion.

Market Research (30%)
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of international healthcare markets to identify opportunities, trends, and potential challenges.
• Advanced quantitative and qualitative skills to draw insights from complex research and provide strategic direction and recommendations for the future growth of Client Health in selected markets.
• Monitor regulatory changes, competitive landscape, and technological advancements affecting the industry.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market share. Utilize insights to refine our competitive advantage and position our offerings effectively.
• Uses advanced analytical thought to help identify opportunities and threats across the industry and technology landscape;

Relationship and Stakeholder Management (20%)
• Expertise in managing C-level relationships and country-level Client in establishing strategic direction incountry and region for the future direction for Client Health.
• Executive liaison for insight, growth, strategy planning and development with all local sales, product development and related internal teams for regional growth. Full end to end ownership for regional strategy for designated regions.
• Effective liaison between local country teams, partners, 3rd parties and internal Client product development, engineering, PMO and strategy teams as it relates to future growth direction.
• Builds strong relations and helps share the progress of the growth journey with key stakeholders and identifies opportunities and risks to support Leadership and Local Markets in the delivery of the overall programme.
• Identify and establish partnerships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers & government agencies. Leverage these partnerships to enhance market penetration and foster strategic collaborations.


ABOUT THE CANDIDATE

Essential skills and experience required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Strategy, Business Management, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in strategic planning, market analysis, and business development within the healthcare industry, with a strong focus on international markets. Experience of delivery of large-scale system-wide programmes and development of comprehensive business cases is preferable.
• 5 years+ a top tier consultancy with experience with project delivery within the healthcare industry
• In-depth knowledge of global healthcare trends, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.
• Proven analytical and business and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply financial analysis to commercial issues. Ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions and strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with Data Analytics products (i.e. BI, Tableau etc...), and Microsoft Office suite. Minimum intermediate skills with Microsoft Excel.

Desirable skills and knowledge:
• Experience in a high-growth startup or scaleup in a similar GTM or growth capacity is desirable
• Medical expertise as a previous clinician, pharmacist or medical professional is desirable or direct work within a strategy and product team within an electronic medical record IT software company.
• Highly numerate and confident and experienced in financial modelling, valuation analysis and business plan and commercial analysis,
• Proficiency in market research tools and familiarity of platforms such as Gartner, CB Insights, Forrester etc.
• Fluency in English. 1 other European language is desirable
