Job summary

Boots UK is seeking a Healthcare Logistics Driver to deliver and collect medicines across care homes, patients’ homes, GP surgeries and Boots stores. You’ll follow safety protocols, use a handheld routing device, and maintain your vehicle to support timely, accurate deliveries.

The role emphasizes excellent customer care, strong relationship building with care homes and store teams, and adherence to operating policies, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year’s driving experience.
• Able to read and interpret delivery routes and instructions.
• Enjoy following process and working at pace to achieve service levels and targets.
• Physical stamina and capability to work in a manually demanding role with heavy lifting.
• Comfortable using new technology.
• Calm in the face of unexpected changes or challenges.
• Comfortable in new situations and meeting new people.
• A genuine desire to help people and provide legendary care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect medicines from care homes, patients at home, GP surgeries and Boots stores on an allocated route.
• Follow safety protocols and operate in compliance with procedures.
• Use the provided vehicle and handheld routing device to ensure timely deliveries.
• Keep the vehicle clean and report any damage or issues promptly.
• Build strong relationships with store teams, care homes and GP surgeries.
