Job summary

Movianto in Newcastle is seeking an experienced Distribution Centre Supervisor to lead daily site operations in healthcare logistics. You will drive safety, service and compliance while empowering teammates and maintaining strong cross-department collaboration to deliver consistent results.

You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £34,938.83 per year and a comprehensive benefits package including pension, health cover and wellbeing services.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK driving licence.
• Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
• Proven leadership and logistics experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and transport operational systems.
• Working knowledge CPC or advanced knowledge of transport legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations, route building and depot dashboard duties.
• Maintain accurate reporting on operational performance and KPI data.
• Coordinate vehicle scheduling and ensure timely service.
• Foster inter-department relationships to optimise performance.
• Lead HR activities including absence and disciplinary management.
• Motivate and engage the team to achieve targets.
• Maintain time and attendance records in the HR system (iTrent).
