Job summary

Devon Partnership Trust is seeking a dedicated Facilities Supervisor to join the Estates and Facilities team based in Dawlish, supporting cleaning, catering, waste and pest control services. This full-time role contributes to safe, high-quality healthcare environments and NHS/CQC compliance across sites.

You will lead facilities staff, oversee audits, maintain COSHH and risk assessments, and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure service excellence and staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising facilities services, ideally in healthcare or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, food hygiene regulations, waste management and pest control.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; proactive and organised.

Responsibilities

• Supervise facilities staff across cleaning, catering, waste and pest control.
• Monitor standards of cleanliness and hygiene per NHS and CQC requirements.
• Ensure food safety HACCP procedures and documentation.
• Oversee waste segregation, storage and disposal per regulations.
• Coordinate pest control measures and maintenance programmes.
• Conduct audits, inspections and quality checks.
• Support recruitment, training and performance management of staff.
• Investigate incidents and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain communication with clinical teams for seamless service delivery.
