Job summary

Polar Speed, a UPS company, seeks a Healthcare Delivery Driver (Multi-Drop) in Fareham to collect and deliver temperature‑sensitive medicines and healthcare products across multiple sites daily. You will manage a busy route, ensure products stay within required temperatures, and provide a professional, customer‑facing service to hospitals, pharmacies, and patients at home.

You’ll have at least 2 years driving experience, a UK B licence with few penalty points, strong communication and time

Salary: £12.82 per hour

Hours: Full time | Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week

The Role

As a Healthcare Delivery Driver (Multi-Drop), you will be responsible for collecting and delivering temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical and healthcare products across multiple locations on a daily route.

You will deliver to a variety of customers, including:

• Hospitals
• GP surgeries
• Retail pharmacies
• Pharmaceutical wholesalers
• Healthcare facilities
• Patients in their homes

This is a customer-facing role that requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional service experience.

You may also occasionally assist patients with the return or rotation of healthcare products, making excellent customer service skills essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely collect and deliver pharmaceutical and healthcare products.
• Manage a multi-drop route while maintaining excellent service standards.
• Check, scan, and track consignments accurately.
• Complete daily vehicle and refrigeration unit safety checks.
• Ensure products remain within required temperature ranges throughout transportation.
• Accurately capture electronic proof of delivery and complete driver manifests.
• Maintain effective communication with operational teams and customers.
• Follow all company procedures, healthcare regulations, and road safety requirements.
• Demonstrate professional and safe driving standards at all times.
• Present a professional appearance and represent Polar Speed positively with every customer interaction.

What We’re Looking For :

Essential Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' driving experience.
• Full UK Category B Driving Licence.
• Ideally no more than 3 penalty points.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workload and manage a busy delivery schedule.
• Ability to build positive relationships with customers while maintaining confidentiality.
• Professional, reliable, and safety-focused approach.

Desirable Experience

• Previous multi-drop delivery experience.
• Experience working within healthcare, pharmaceutical, logistics, or temperature-controlled environments.
• Experience in a customer-facing role.

Working Hours

This role is contracted at 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Due to the nature of healthcare logistics, flexibility is essential. Additional hours may be required to support urgent and time-critical medical deliveries.

Drivers can typically expect to work between 48 and 52 hours per week, depending on operational requirements.
