Job summary

Planwell Recruitment Ltd is seeking reliable Class 2 drivers for healthcare deliveries based in Northampton. You will cover hospitals, clinics and patients’ homes across the UK, with up to 11 daily deliveries and handball duties.

Full training on vehicle handling and MHE is provided; DBS check is required. Start times typically between 04:00 and 06:00, with a 42‑hour basic week and overtime opportunities. Weekly pay and pension available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum 6 penalty points.
• Physically active role with good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver healthcare products to hospitals, clinics and patients' homes across the UK.
• Make up to 11 deliveries per day, including London.
• Handball deliveries to hospital departments, clinics or patient rooms.
• Unload safely using pump trucks and MHE equipment (e.g., Climb Stackers, Linde).
• Complete delivery paperwork and PODs, follow GDP and safety rules.
• Work with 3.5T, 7.5T, 12T or 18T vehicles as required by route.
