Job summary

Planwell Recruitment Ltd is seeking reliable Class 2 Drivers for a healthcare contract based in Dartford. You will deliver healthcare products to hospitals, clinics and patients' homes across the UK, with up to 11 deliveries per day.

This role involves handball, safe unloading with MHE, paperwork and adherence to GDP and safety requirements. Training will be provided, and DBS checks are required.

Job description

Our client is looking for reliable Class 2 Drivers for their healthcare operation based in Dartford. We are seeking reliable, energetic candidates to join this friendly and professional team.

About the role

• Delivering healthcare products to hospitals, clinics and patients' homes
• Up to 11 deliveries per day across the UK, including London
• This is a handball role and may involve delivering products directly to hospital departments, clinics or customers' rooms
• Safe unloading of products using pump trucks and Material Handling Equipment, including Climb Stackers and Linde equipment
• Full training will be provided on all MHE equipment
• Completing delivery paperwork and PODs
• Following all healthcare, safety and GDP requirements

Vehicles

• Drivers may be required to operate 3.5T, 7.5T, 12T and 18T vehicles, depending on the route assigned.

What are we looking for?

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

Additional Information

• Full training will be provided

• This is an important healthcare contract helping to ensure essential products reach hospitals and patients safely and on time across the UK.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 04:00 and 06:00
• Basic weekly hours 42 hours
• Standard hours pay rate includes a LW enhancement to £18.86 per hour. Min of 8 hrs per shift, average shift can be 10 hours, extra hours are available, should you exceed 48 hours (different vehicle types operated) an overtime rate of £18.29. Bank holiday pay (of worked) is £34.50 per hour.
