Job summary

Flok Health is building an AI-native healthcare platform in Cambridge, and we are seeking a data engineer who will own the data stack initially as the sole engineer focused on data. You’ll impact patient care by turning data into insights and scalable tooling.

You’ll analyse patient data, build a self-serve data platform, collaborate with engineering and UX, and help shape product decisions with data-driven questions and rigorous data practices.

Qualifications

• Strong programming in Python and its data science ecosystem.
• Experience turning research into production code.
• Good fluency in mathematics, statistics and information theory.
• Ability to collaborate with design/product teams to shape outcomes.
• Clear communication to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Analyze patient data, run queries, and create visualisations and summaries.
• Build an internal data platform for self-serve data queries.
• Collaborate with UX to iterate app design using data-driven decisions.
• Propose questions to drive product decisions from data.
• Improve data model and storage with a focus on privacy and security.
