gap personnel Bristol are operating as an employment business and currently looking to recruit X3 Part-time Healthcare Administrators for our client based in Central Bristol, BS1.

Please note, DBS Check is required for this position.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming patients and potential patients.
  • Assisting patients on the phone and in person.
  • Helping to maintain the safety and comfort of the patient.
  • Maintaining records of appointments, financial transactions and other administrative duties.
  • Maintaining skills at the current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain personal competency.
  • Supporting and uphold an open, positive and honest working culture.
  • Keeping the reception and waiting areas in a smart and orderly fashion.
  • Using e-mail, phone, LiveChat to communicate with patients whilst being aware of data protection requirements.
  • Handling payments to the practice from both patients and insurance companies by cash, card, cheque and transfer.
  • Keeping records of financial transactions.
  • Placing orders to make sure there is relevant level of stock of products that are in use daily
  • Reporting all significant events, incidents including ‘near misses’ for inclusion in the practice Risk Register.
  • Participating in all activities required by CQC registration.

The Candidate must:

  • be able to properly perform tasks that are intrinsic to their role,
  • have the necessary qualifications, competence, skills and experience to supervise the management of the regulated activity, and supply documentation confirming their suitability.
