Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is seeking Domestic Supervisors to manage and train teams of cleaning staff across the trust. You will lead a diverse staff group, organise rotas, and ensure high standards of hygiene and patient safety in clinical and non-clinical areas.

Training will be provided, and you will work 37.5 hours per week across 5 out of 7 days, with a focus on operational service delivery, reporting, and continuous improvement within a major NHS cancer centre.

Qualifications

• Lead and supervise domestic and deep-clean teams.
• Induct, train and refresh staff to seasonal needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day supervision and training of cleaning teams.
• Monitor quality of work and implement improvements.
• Plan rotas and ensure adequate staffing across shifts.
• Maintain records and stock of consumables across the site.
• Support infection control colleagues and audit cleaning schedules.
