Our Domestic Services Department pride ourselves on the high standards of cleanliness throughout our services. Healthcare Cleaners are a valued member of the Healthcare Team and are respected for the work they do. Healthcare Cleaners provide a range of cleaning duties across the Trust and support services to ensure a safe, efficient and effective service to all patients, staff and visitors is delivered. We are looking to fill multiple roles with varied hours, including:
- 6am-9:30am Monday - Friday (17 1/2 hours)
- 7am-1:30pm Monday - Friday (30 hours)
- 7am-1:30pm Saturday-Sunday (12 hours)
- 1:30pm-8pm Monday - Friday (30 hours)
- 4:30pm-8pm Monday - Friday (17 1/2 hours)
- Possibility of additional hours as required
Responsibilities (Main duties)
- Deliver the highest standards of cleaning service to the ward at all times, observing work schedules and the National Specifications for cleanliness in the NHS requirements.
- Perform cleaning of wards, outpatient/clinical areas, and residential areas, including changing window nets, curtains, screens and bed curtains; wipe/wash nets and shower curtains periodically; make beds as required.
- Damp wipe all furniture, fixtures and fittings, ledges, pipes, tiles, glass partitions, walls, doors and panels, and internal window blinds.
- Work independently or as part of a team to maintain cleanliness standards and contribute to a positive patient experience.
