Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a Chef for Healthcare who will prepare and serve high-quality meals. This part-time role is contracted to 32.5 hours per week with shifts across 5 out of 7 days within our market-leading food service company in the UK.

You will oversee menu changes, support new recipes, and ensure hygiene and safety standards are met while delivering excellent customer service to clients and customers.

Qualifications

• Hold City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
• Flexible approach to working.
• Be passionate about great-tasting food and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers.
• Oversee and implement menu changes.
• Identify opportunities to improve food services.
• Respond to customer feedback to improve service.
• Assist with creation of new menus and concepts.
• Represent Healthcare and maintain a positive brand image.
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens stocked.
• Oversee kitchen cleaning and hygiene standards.
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.
