Job summary

Chartwells Independent is seeking a seasoned Catering Manager to lead patient dining and retail catering services in a busy healthcare environment in Ealing. You will ensure high-quality, safe and nutritious food while maintaining compliance and delivering exceptional service.

Candidates should have strong operational leadership, food safety expertise (HACCP), and experience managing budgets, teams and KPIs. This role is based in Ealing with a 40-hour week over 5 days.

Qualifications

• Excellent leadership and people management skills demonstrated in healthcare or large food service operations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, sales KPIs and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of patient dining and retail catering services.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety legislation, allergen management and NHS standards.
• Monitor food quality, temperature controls, cleanliness and hygiene across outlets.
• Drive patient, visitor and staff satisfaction through efficient service delivery.
• Recruit, train and develop catering teams to achieve operational excellence.
