Bank Catering Assistant – Winfield Hospital - Bank Hours
We are currently looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to join our Bank.
You will be part of a team responsible for the preparation and delivery of food and beverage services to patients. As a Catering Assistant, your duties will include serving food and drinks to patients on the wards, managing dietary requirements, washing cutlery, replenishing hot drinks machines, and explaining daily menus across all meals.
You will work with a team of Catering Assistants to ensure all tasks are performed hygienically and systematically, maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the hospital in accordance with our policies.
On a Bank contract, we offer shifts across seven days with the following patterns: 7:00 am - 1:30 pm, 1:30 pm - 7:00 pm, or 8:00 am - 2:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
Who we're looking for
Ideally, you will be an experienced Catering Assistant from a healthcare or similar industry, with demonstrable experience in a customer-facing role.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a catering setting and be able to work independently.
You should have a positive and flexible approach to customer service and possess strong communication skills.
What is a Bank contract:
A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week. Instead, you work on an ad-hoc basis, filling shifts available in our hospitals. It is ideal for individuals seeking flexibility, allowing you to choose shifts that fit your availability, thus supporting a better work-life balance. Bank staff are crucial in maintaining service levels during peak times or staff shortages, ensuring uninterrupted patient care.
