Job description

We are looking for committed and experienced Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about providing personalised care to our service users.

By joining us as a Healthcare Assistant, you'll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for our service user who lives in Ilkeston.

Known as an 'Action Man' to his friends and family, he is an adventurous young man who loves spending time outdoors and taking part in all kinds of fun activities. When the weather isn't ideal for adventures, he enjoys going to the cinema or watching his favourite TV shows.

We're looking for compassionate and energetic individuals who can support him in his daily activities, ensuring he continues to enjoy his passions.

Your role? To provide essential support and companionship, helping him make the most of each day. This includes carrying out personal care, managing his clinical interventions, ensuring his safety and comfort during outdoor activities, and supporting his community access using his wheelchair.

This isn't just a job - it's a chance to have a significant impact on a person's life.

Please note, our service user has specifically requested female staff to work on his team.

Pay Rates:

  • £13.50 - £15.00 per hour

Shifts Available:

  • Part Time Days
  • Monday - Friday: 6pm - 9pm
  • Alternate Weekends:
  • Mixture of following shifts: 8am to 9pm / 8am to 10pm / 6pm to 9pm
  • Part Time Nights
  • 9pm to 8am

Essential Requirements

  • 3 months previous care experience
