Job summary

Omnes Healthcare is seeking a proactive Healthcare Assistant to join our Greenwich team and contribute to NHS Primary Medical Services. You will support clinical teams, deliver patient-focused care, and help maintain high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

The role offers both full-time and part-time options within a GP practice setting, enabling you to contribute to safe, compassionate care across patient pathways.

Qualifications

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use practice software.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of general practice workflows.
  • Ability to work professionally, sensitively, and empathetically.

Responsibilities

  • Phlebotomy.
  • B12 injections.
  • Flu vaccinations.
  • Recording observations such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, height, weight and BMI.
  • Undertake tasks and duties delegated by clinical and management staff.
  • Conduct procedures like blood pressure monitoring and new patient checks.
  • Assist in ordering supplies and equipment.
  • Assist in sterilisation and preparation of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively to support smooth clinical operations.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our established team and be part of a company that genuinely makes a difference to patient care.

The Healthcare Assistant plays a vital role within the GP Practice team, supporting the delivery of the full range of NHS Primary Medical Services. You will work alongside our friendly, patient-focused clinical and management teams, providing essential support to ensure high-quality, safe, and compassionate care for all patients.

This role requires autonomy, discretion, empathy, and sensitivity, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a real impact on patients’ lives while working in a supportive, patient-committed team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Phlebotomy
  • B12 injections
