We are seeking a healthcare assistant with complex skills to support a 19-year-old client with Kleine-Levin Syndrome, a sleep disorder. The role involves assisting with PEG nutrition and fluids, ensuring safety during seizures, suction, and oxygen level monitoring. Support will be provided by a Nurse Manager, with regular supervision and meetings.
The preferred shift is Friday from 10 am to 4 pm, plus one additional day during the week, totaling approximately 16 hours per week. The client is registered blind with light perception and deaf with global developmental delay.
We are building a dedicated team of complex care assistants committed to ongoing support. Full training and clinical support will be provided.
Responsibilities include delivering and overseeing health care functions across both day and night shifts, with support from qualified Nurse Managers. The role involves working as part of the Onecall24 Healthcare complex care team, emphasizing quality and person-centered care.
Experience in epilepsy is preferred but not essential; training will be provided in all aspects of care.
Access to personal transport is desirable due to the nature of the work.
