A major healthcare provider in Amersham is seeking enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join their Waterside Unit. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and a passion for caring for older people. The position offers flexible working patterns including full-time and part-time opportunities, along with a salary ranging from £24,937 to £26,598 per annum.

Amersham Hospital is one of several Community Hospitals within the Trust. We are looking to appoint new Healthcare Assistants to join our Waterside Unit on a full-time/part-time basis.
We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals with excellent communication skills who have a good standard of English and numeracy and a passion for looking after older people.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete numeracy and literacy competency tests. If you meet the required standards, you will be interviewed. This process helps determine whether we are the right employer for you and whether you are the right candidate for us.
Waterside Unit is a 21-bed ward within the Integrated Elderly Care Division. We care for medically optimised patients requiring rehabilitation prior to discharge home with support if needed or a placement in a Nursing or Residential Home. Our patients often have multiple health needs and chronic conditions.
You will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work within a team and independently, and the ability to offer a high level of nursing care. Training and clinical supervision opportunities are available to successful candidates.
Working on Waterside Unit involves close collaboration with a large multi-disciplinary team including nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, doctors, pharmacists, social workers and discharge coordinators.
