Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is a major provider of integrated hospital and community services for people living in Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas, including Thame (Oxfordshire), Tring (Hertfordshire), and Leighton Buzzard (Bedfordshire). We care for over half a million patients annually with a team of over 6,000 highly trained clinical staff, including doctors, nurses, midwives, health visitors, therapists, and healthcare scientists.

About Amersham Hospital

Amersham Hospital is one of several community hospitals within the Trust, featuring three inpatient areas: Chartridge Ward, Waterside Unit, and Buckinghamshire Neuro Rehabilitation Unit. We are currently seeking to appoint new Healthcare Assistants to join our team on Waterside Unit.

Who We Are Looking For

We seek enthusiastic and caring individuals with excellent communication skills, a good standard of English and numeracy, and a passion for caring for older people. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to undertake a numeracy and literacy competency test. Successful candidates will then be interviewed to determine mutual suitability.

About Waterside Unit

Waterside Unit is a 21-bed ward within the Integrated Elderly Care Division, caring for patients who are medically optimized and require rehabilitation before discharge home or to a care facility. Patients often have multiple health needs and chronic conditions.

Team Environment
