Barts Hospital | Nursing | Bank | Part time | Includes weekend work
Up to £14.07 per hour depending on experience

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward at our hospital, you'll show us you're able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. You will be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, and hold relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.

As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward, you will:

  1. Carry out administrative duties
  2. Support a team of Registered Nurses and consultants in the delivery of exceptional patient care, pre and post surgery
  3. Enjoy time to get to know the people who are our patients
  4. Meet the needs of every individual

We've opened the doors to Nuffield Health at St Bartholomew's Hospital: The City of London's only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. This is our flagship center for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynecology and urology services.

Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 Specialist intensive care beds, four of the most advanced digital operating theatres and Endoscopy and minor ops theatre. With 28 consultation rooms, Cardiac catheterisation lab, Oncology Day unit and full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray.
