As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward at our hospital, you’ll demonstrate your ability to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You should have a good telephone manner, excellent computer and database skills, and be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.

As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward, you will:

  • Put patient care first
  • Carry out administrative duties
  • Support a team of Registered Nurses and consultants in delivering exceptional patient care, pre and post surgery
  • Spend time to get to know our patients
  • Meet the needs of every individual
  • Use your organisational skills to make a positive impact and enhance patient experience
