A community healthcare organization in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking an individual to provide direct patient care under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring good communication with patients and staff. The postholder will carry out assigned tasks involving direct patient care, in support of and supervised by a registered Nurse, Midwife or Doctor. This includes attending to a patient's hygiene and personal care needs, monitoring and reporting on any general observations of the wellness of the patient and maintaining standards of housekeeping in the ward areas.
The roles are diverse and include a lot of contact and communication with healthcare professionals and patients and relatives, and would suit someone who likes to work around others.
