This role is 25 hours a week spread over 2 days. We work 12.5hrs per shift between 07:30 and 20:00.

Main duties of the job

You will support the nursing staff with overall responsibility for all patients on the inpatient Ward. The scope of the role will include but is not limited to:

  • Welcoming/greeting patients to the ward area
  • Answering the telephone, recording and delivering messages accurately and to the appropriate person
  • Assisting in the ordering and monitoring of stores and stock rotation
  • Running errands to other departments
  • Support other members of the multi-disciplinary team
