A leading healthcare organization is seeking a part-time Healthcare Assistant to join their team at the Prince Charles Eye Unit. The ideal candidate will assist with delivering high-standard perioperative care, and will have good communication skills and a caring nature. Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as a comprehensive induction will be provided. This role offers 30 hours per week, reflecting a commitment to providing compassionate care for patients.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work closely with the Registered Practitioners delivering high standard perioperative care to patients, assisting with admission and discharge to the unit, as well as preparing theatre, checking equipment and escorting patients to theatres.
A caring nature, good communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop are essential. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who has an interest in a career in ophthalmology day surgery. Previous experience is desirable but not essential as successful applicants will receive a comprehensive induction on commencing the post.

Please note: This post is based at Prince Charles Eye Unit, King Edward VII Hospital, St Leonards Road, Windsor, SL4 3DP - and attracts a Fringe payment of 5% of gross basic salary. This is a part-time post for 30 hours per week. This is an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team at the Prince Charles Eye Unit Theatre & Day Bed Unit.
