Healthcare Assistant – Theatre (Bank)

Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital | Nursing | Bank Contract | Includes weekend work | Up to £13.00 per hour, depending on experience

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Healthcare Assistant in Theatre at our Wessex Hospital, you’ll be highly motivated and enjoy working in a setting that’s constantly changing. You’ll demonstrate genuine empathy and find the challenges of theatre work engaging. Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to duties and hours are essential.

If you are qualified to NVQ Level 2 or 3, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting, that’s advantageous.

As a Healthcare Assistant in Theatre, you will:

  • Create a positive experience for patients undergoing major and minor surgeries.
  • Have sufficient time to care for patients as individuals.
  • Understand and cater to people’s unique needs.
  • Play a vital role in a fast-paced environment.
  • Support our team by working flexibly.
