Job summary

Nani Recruitment is urgently seeking Health Care Assistants and Support Workers in Wellingborough as part of its UK healthcare staffing network. The roles offer long day and night 12-hour shifts, with options for temporary or part-time schedules to suit your needs.

Duties include helping residents with personal care, social activities, mobility support, and contributing to care plans. Requirements include empathy, good communication, adaptability, and evidence of the right to work in the UK;

Qualifications

• An empathetic, considerate and sympathetic nature.
• Enthusiastic and eager to acquire new skills.
• A good listener with forbearance.
• Adaptability due to rotational work.
• Recent pertinent experience in the healthcare sector as a Caregiver/Senior caregiver/Healthcare assistant.
• Proficient in communication, both written and verbal.
• Candidates MUST possess evidence of the right to work in the UK.
• All the obligatory training certificates are up to date (training provided if needed).
• Must have an Enhanced DBS (DBS application can be made if not available).
• Moving & Handling Practical Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Aiding residents with tasks related to personal care, such as bathing, maintaining personal hygiene, getting dressed, and eating.
• Engaging in recreational and social activities with residents, both individually and as a group.
• Taking charge of the resident's physical and emotional well-being and addressing social needs.
• Contributing to the creation of resident Care plans and being fully informed about any specialised support requirements.
• Supporting residents with their mobility and assisting as needed.
