Job Role

• Provide excellent personal care to customers in their day-to-day activities and fulfill their social care needs.
• Ensure vulnerable individuals are safeguarded from abuse and report any signs of alleged abuse observed or brought to your attention.
• Assist people with their medication at the agreed level of support as detailed in individual risk assessments and care plans.
• Prepare meals with knowledge of service users’ likes/dislikes, nutritional needs and cultural requirements while maintaining hygiene.
• Document records of service users, such as personal information, care plans, medical records, and changes to health, in carers notes.
• Use manual handling equipment safely and correctly.
• Attend training seminars and staff meetings as requested to stay updated on social care requirements.
