Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and compassionate individual to join our dedicated team of a 53-stationed chronic haemodialysis unit.

The successful candidate will assist registered nursing staff in caring for patients requiring haemodialysis and will become a member of the multidisciplinary care team.

The setting up and decontamination of equipment is a major part of this role. The work is routine, physically demanding, challenging, and highly rewarding.

Due to the specific nature of the role, candidates are strongly advised to call and arrange a visit to the department prior to applying.

Flexibility is essential - the unit operates:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 7.00 am - 12.30 midnight
  • Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday: 7.00 am - 7.30 pm
  • Closed on Sundays.

Candidates will be required to attend an assessment centre. Those successful at assessment will be invited to interview.

To assist qualified nursing staff in meeting the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients receiving haemodialysis treatment.
