Essential Requirements:

• Must have a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ/SVQ) Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent Healthcare-related NVQ).
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience within the last 3 years working in general practice or other healthcare environments as a HCA.
• Valid certificates for Basic Life Support (BLS), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Infection Prevention and Control (IPC), and Safeguarding Children and Young People and Vulnerable Adults Level 2, issued within the last three years.
• Ability to provide proof of training or clinical competency in:
• Recording ECGs
• Performing Venepuncture
• Performing urinalysis
• Preparation of specimens
• Undertaking simple dressing procedures
• Using aseptic technique

About the Role:

• Flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach.
• Join a multidisciplinary team in well-equipped medical, dental, or rehabilitation centres, valued as part of the Defence Medical Services.
• Deliver professional and personal care at all times.
• Work alongside military personnel on Army, Royal Navy, and Royal Air Force bases to provide high standards of care for service members and their families (at some locations).
