Working as part of our great nursing team you will provide compassionate and important care to our patients who are undergoing a wide range of orthopaedic treatments.
Working under the supervision of registered colleagues you will be supported to deliver care, including physical support of patients and assistance in the running of our clinics and services.
You will need excellent communication skills and a desire to deliver excellent patient experience, giving attention to the small details that can make the world of difference to a patient.
Our friendly supportive team works together to give our Consultants a great service and our patients wonderful care, 7 days a week, 51 weeks a year. We are looking for a team player with a sense of humour, who likes to spend time with patients, can work under pressure and wants to succeed in helping Private Care achieve its goals.
Experience of working in the health sector/care sector will be great, though we have good training and support programmes if you are looking to launch into a healthcare career.
You will work alongside registered nurses with a measured level of accountability and responsibility for care of our patients who are
undergoing surgery and treatment.
Under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse/associate , you will be expected to carry out tasks within the required competencies and to assist with the care and treatment of patients.
Carrying out verbal reports to senior nursing staff regarding the patients planned care as necessary ensuring that patients are assisted to retain their dignity and individuality.
You will be expected to provide support and assistance to professionals when they are performing specific therapies, clinical treatments and investigative programmes for patients.
To communicate positively with patients, their relatives, carers and visitors assisting and supporting them as they move from one care setting to another.
With appropriate training, perform venepuncture, blood pressure recording and simple dressings also to assist with patients’ basic care needs including maintaining personal hygiene where required.
You will also support outpatient and pre assessment clinic services.
