Healthcare Assistant – Outpatients

Highgate, London N6 4DJ | Outpatients | Permanent | Part Time 24.5 hours per week

Department opening hours are Monday – Friday 8am-8.30pm you will work vary shifts within these hours Saturday 8am – 2pm on rotation

As a Healthcare Assistant in Outpatients at our Nuffield Health Highgate Hospital, you’ll have previous HCA experience in a hospital setting, a keen eye for detail and a flexible approach. You will demonstrate patience, focus and excellent communication skills. You will be qualified to NVQ level 3, be a team player,diligent as well as being IT literate with a passion for development. Phlebotomy skill are preferred but can be taught.

As a Healthcare Assistant in Outpatients, you will:

• Assist colleagues in Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Plastics Surgery, ENT, and GP Services
• Enjoy more time to care for patients as individuals
• Manage a wide range of activities and changing priorities
• Make sure the day-to-day operations of our various clinics run smoothly
• Assist consultants and nurses with procedures, such as dressings and wound care
