Job Summary

Betts Avenue Medical Centre requires a friendly and enthusiastic HCA/NA to join our patient focused, caring and friendly GP Practice. The HCA/NA will deliver and assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education and support the practice nursing team in the delivery of nursing services.

Main duties of the job

A friendly personality, competent clinical skills, effective interpersonal skills together with an interest in further training.

The ability to work autonomously within a busy team environment is essential. The ideal candidate will ideally have experience working within a General Practice environment.

The candidate will support the nursing team in the delivery of nursing services, working as part of the practice multidisciplinary team, delivering care within their scope of practice. The healthcare assistant will deliver and assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion, chronic disase management, stock management and patient education.

We are a vibrant, forward thinking dual site practice. The team consists of 5 GP's, ACP and 4 nurses, as well as an extremely support administration team.

Our multicultural practice population is approx. 10,500+ with diverse health and social needs.
