Qualifications

We’re looking for Healthcare Assistant to join our Neuro Rehab team at The Wellington Hospital, currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

As a Healthcare Assistant in the ward, you will be responsible for providing skilled clinical assistance to the nursing and medical teams. The successful candidate will participate in the assessment of patient care needs and implement and maintain the agreed standards of care.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Care certificate
  • Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a Hospital setting
  • Good Clinical Skills like Phlebotomy will be an advantage
  • Experience of working with members of the public is essential
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English verbally and written
